Five habits that shaved seconds off my Neon Drift times

Five habits that shaved seconds off my Neon Drift times

Neon Drift Circuit is deceptively simple until you start chasing leaderboard times. My first breakthrough was realizing that a clean, sustained drift builds more usable speed than braking-and-boosting through corners.

Second: memorize the track rhythm before you push for a time. Every circuit has two or three corners that decide the run, and hitting those consistently matters more than nailing the easy stretches.

Third, don't over-steer. The arcade handling is loose, so tiny inputs go a long way. I switched off tilt for the tight tracks and my consistency improved instantly.

Fourth, race your own ghost. Watching where you lose time against yourself is the fastest way to improve. And fifth — pick the right car. The heavier ones hold drifts better on the wider circuits.

None of it is complicated, but together these habits turned frustrating tracks into satisfying ones.
