Iron Lane Tactics

Iron Lane Tactics asks you to defend a series of corridors from waves of increasingly clever attackers. What sets it apart is that enemies adapt — send too many of one unit type and later waves counter it. So you're constantly rebalancing your lanes between rounds.

The pace is deliberate. There's a planning phase where you place and upgrade defenders, then you watch the wave play out and adjust. On a phone this works surprisingly well, since you can pause and drag units without any fiddly precision. I lost a few missions purely because I got greedy with upgrades and left a flank thin.

It's a thinker's game, not a reflex game. If you enjoy staring at a layout and finding the one weak spot, you'll get a lot out of it.
