Onyx Hub started as a group chat between three friends who kept arguing about which mobile games were worth the storage space. Instead of trusting store ratings, we decided to play everything ourselves and take proper notes. That habit turned into this site.

We cover a bit of everything: role-playing games, racers, strategy titles, cozy simulators and quick arcade fillers for the bus ride home. Genre doesn't matter to us as much as whether a game respects your time and does something interesting with the phone in your hand.

Games get picked for review the boring, honest way. Somebody on the team plays a title long enough to have an opinion, then we cross-check it with the rest of the group. If nobody wants to keep playing after the first hour, that tells us something too.

We're not tied to any studio or publisher. What you read is what we thought after actually finishing the levels — or getting stuck on them.
