Iron Lane Tactics: how to stop leaking units on the flanks
The most common mistake in Iron Lane Tactics is dumping all your resources into one heavily defended corridor while the others crumble. Enemies adapt, and they will find your thin flank.
Spread your upgrades a little wider than feels comfortable early on. A row of mid-tier defenders across every lane held up better for me than a single wall of maxed-out towers.
Use the planning phase properly. Watch the incoming wave preview and shuffle units to match the threat types — the game tells you what's coming if you look. I stopped losing missions once I actually read that info.
Save some resources between waves rather than spending everything immediately. Being able to react to a surprise composition mid-run has bailed me out more times than I can count.
It's a patient game, and it rewards patient players. Rush it and it'll humble you fast.
